In Chinese culture, it is a traditional custom to leave the city behind in April and get close to nature to experience the spring. To build team spirit and take a break from the work routine, 19 members of Ling Ke Group’s core team headed to Fuyan Mountain together during the pleasant spring weather. On the mountain, everyone encouraged and helped one another overcome the challenges of the climb. After reaching the summit to enjoy the spring scenery, they also worked together to prepare a delicious lunch. This event, which combined appreciation of nature with team camaraderie, not only carried on the traditional custom of spring outings but also brought team members closer together, further strengthening Ling Ke Group’s team cohesion.
The name “Fuyan Mountain” is deeply evocative: ‘Fu’ means floating, and “Yan” means mist or smoke. It metaphorically describes the mountain as being enveloped by numerous clouds; from a distance, the light, wispy clouds resemble floating smoke drifting around the mountain.
Located in Weifang City, Shandong Province, China, Fuyan Mountain stretches 3 kilometers from north to south and covers an area of 11.4 square kilometers. Its main peak stands at an elevation of 161.5 meters. As a AAA-rated tourist attraction in China, the mountain features temples, historical sites, and mountain springs, with a forest coverage rate exceeding 85%. With its fresh air, it is an ideal destination to escape the city and embrace nature.
After resting at the summit, the team embarked on the most lively part of the day—cooking lunch together, featuring iron pot stew and BBQ. Everyone worked together: some members were in charge of starting the fire, washing ingredients, and preparing the meat and vegetables; while others focused on controlling the heat and carefully BBQ. Everyone worked together and helped one another. The rich flavors of the iron pot stew and the savory aroma of the BBQ, paired with the natural beauty of spring, made this lunch not only a treat for the taste buds but also a wonderful reflection of teamwork. Simple food became exceptionally delicious because of everyone’s shared participation.
During this spring outing, countless heartwarming moments were captured as unforgettable memories: The sight of colleagues voluntarily carrying their female coworkers’ backpacks during the hike; the thoughtful gestures of sharing snacks and water; the mutual assistance during the bustling preparation of grilled meat and cooking; and the relaxed moments spent sitting together during breaks, chatting about life and work… With no hierarchical distinctions or workplace barriers, everyone treated one another as partners, ensuring every member felt the warmth and care of the team.
Between enjoying the food and taking breaks, the CEO of Ling Ke Group organized a casual outdoor discussion for all members. Without the formality of a meeting, everyone sat together amidst the springtime woods. The CEO engaged in a candid exchange with the team, linking the Group’s strategic direction with the practical realities of their work: listening to everyone’s thoughts and suggestions regarding their work, sharing the Group’s future development plans, and encouraging everyone to maintain a positive mindset, work together, and dare to break new ground. At the same time, the CEO emphasized that the team is the core driving force behind the company’s development. He expressed hope that through such team-building activities, everyone could relax both mentally and physically, unite their strengths, and devote themselves to future work with renewed enthusiasm. Team members actively participated in the discussion, speaking freely and openly. Through this relaxed exchange, they reached a consensus, laying a solid foundation for the team’s future collaboration and development.
